You Can Help

Checked out the Incarcerated Women’s Prayer Ministry lately?

Thank you Judy Bratten for your great love for these women and your faithful commitment to intercede for them!

Thank you, Sweet Friend, for allowing us to be a part of seeing ADONAI move in their lives.  You are one to imitate.

Prayer for Women's Conference

Conference:  Souled-Out!
Where:  Macedonia Baptist Church, Springfield, MO
When:  Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Message:  Are You Possessing Your Promised Land?

Dear Friends,

Please be in prayer for this coming weekend's Women's Conference.  I will be sharing a message that our LORD has been speaking to my own heart...this message is for me...and it's for every woman.

Please pray that ADONAI begin to break up the soil of every heart this week in preparation for the receiving of the Word of God!

Please pray for the women's leadership team at Macedonia Baptist and for the worship team's hearts to be 'one...that with one mind and one voice we would glorify the God and Father of our LORD Yeshua' (Romans 15:5,6).

Please pray for me that 'whenever I open my mouth, the words will be given to me to be bold in making known the secret of the Good News...pray that I may be speak boldly, the way I should.' (Ephesians 6:18,19).

Pursuing the Kingdom...
'But, seek first the Kingdom...which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Ruach HaKodesh (Romans 14:17)...and all these things shall be added unto you!' ~ Matthew 6:33

I Love P.M.S. - Ministry of Intercession

Click above to find out more...

Women of the Word,
One of the biggest reasons I began blogging was not only to share God's Life-Changing Word, but also that this blog might serve as an outlet to pray for the needs of others.

The ministry of intercession is not a passive ministry...it is highly active and brings forth change from the inside and out!

When one of my beautiful sisters in the LORD asked me to be a part of her special prayer ministry for incarcerated ladies, I said YES!!!!  And so now, I want to share the joy of speaking these Beautiful Women's names before His Throne and asking His favor and blessing upon them.  The LORD has reserved in Heaven so much more for them...and each of us...yet here on Earth!

As you begin to intercede for them and look upon their faces, I pray the LORD grant you compassionate hearts that beat with His and hearing ears that hear His Words of Life and Love.

Please feel free to leave a prayer of encouragement for each or all of them and Miss Judy will make sure they know we are talking about them TO THE LORD!!

These are their prayer requests taken by Judy each week she meets with them.  Pray for this lovely Judy as well as she faithfully ADMINISTERS the LOVE OF CHRIST to these ladies.

A heartfelt thank you for joining us.
Know that your prayers are truly cherished by these women.  ~ Judy B.

31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, accompanied by all the angels, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be assembled before him, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates sheep from goats.33 The `sheep' he will place at his right hand and the `goats' at his left. 34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, `Come, you whom my Father has blessed, take your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you made me your guest, 36 I needed clothes and you provided them, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.' 37 Then the people who have done what God wants will reply, `Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?38 When did we see you a stranger and make you our guest, or needing clothes and provide them? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison, and visit you?' 40 The King will say to them, `Yes! I tell you that whenever you did these things for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did them for me!'

~ Matthew 25

I Love P.M.S.!

When we work, we work.  When we pray, God works.

Praying Mereas Sisterhood

What is a Merea?

The Hebrew word Merea describes who we are as Sisters in the family of the LORD (nurturers of one another) as well as lending insight as to what our role is in the Body of the Messiah.  Merea means ‘trusted friend and companion'. Merea is taken from the root word ra'ah meaning 'to tend a flock, nurture, and feed'.

Additionally, a healthy mishpachah (family) cares for, tends and nurtures one another into ‘good and Godly choices’.  Without the love, prayers, guidance, wisdom, and admonition (Greek nouthesia - to put into ones’ mind) of a Godly Merea encouraging us to ‘choose God's BEST’, we often lack the motivation to make right choices in life.

Receiving ‘mereaship’ into one’s life, then, is to experience wisdom without pain.  And no one can fulfill both the duties and delights of a ‘Merea’ without building healthy, vibrant and trustworthy relationships with other women for the sole purpose of 'not blaspheming and exposing the Word of God to reproach of any sort' (Titus 2:5).

What are the Benefits of Intercessory Prayer?

The ministry of intercessory prayer is a life-giving source and force in union with the Messiah.  Prayer is the last discipline mentioned of the FOUR DISCIPLINES  of DEVOTION that the early talmidim (disciples) steadfastly devoted themselves to as a community in service to the LORD and to one another (Acts 2:42-47).

They CONTINUED FAITHFULLY (Devotedly Persevered) in:

1.) Teaching of the emissaries - A DILIGENT STUDY OF HIS WORD

2.) Fellowship - A DETERMINED & ACTIVE LOVE OF HIS CHILDREN

3.) Breaking of bread - A DAILY REMEMBRANCE OF HIS SACRIFICE

4.) Prayers - A DEVOTED ABIDING IN HIS PRESENCE

Why I Love P.M.S.!

This is a safe place for you to share your praises, requests and encourage one another in the LORD.  Even Paul, bound in chains, was increasingly confident and comforted by the prayers of the faithful saints as he proclaimed, "Yes, and I will continue to rejoice for I know that this will work out for my deliverance, because of your prayers and the support I get from the Spirit of Yeshua the Messiah." (Philippians 1:18,19)

In the book of Job, it is recorded that "the LORD restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends" (Job 42:10).

What moves the heart of God ought to move our Mereas' hearts as well...people.   As we consider the lives of others, let us join ourselves in steadfast prayer for one another and thus welcome the opportunity to come once again to the Throne room of our Great God through His Son Yeshua, the Messiah.

Sha'alu Shalom Yerushalayim! (Pray for the Peace of Jersusalem)

Please leave your praises, requests and/or words of encouragement here for all to intercede; Or feel free to email me directly.

I welcome the opportunity to speak your names before the Father!

Faithfully Interceding...

Your Merea, Carmen!

Praying Mereas, Spread the Love, Share the Button!!!

But as for me, Heaven forbid that I should boast about anything except the execution-stake of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah! Through Him, as far as I am concerned, the world has been put to death on the stake; and through Him, as far as the world is concerned, I have been put to death on the stake.  For neither being circumcised nor being uncircumcised matters; what matters is being a NEW CREATION. And as many as order their lives by this rule, shalom upon them and mercy, and upon the Isra'el of God!
