But as for me, Heaven forbid that I should boast about anything except the execution-stake of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah! Through Him, as far as I am concerned, the world has been put to death on the stake; and through Him, as far as the world is concerned, I have been put to death on the stake. For neither being circumcised nor being uncircumcised matters; what matters is being a NEW CREATION. And as many as order their lives by this rule, shalom upon them and mercy, and upon the Isra'el of God!
~ Galatians 6:14-16

Hi Carmen, I just discovered you through CWO. WOW!!! You and I share a passion for God's word. I always love coming across another woman with that love.
I'm adding you to my favorites and will be back often!
Sheila
what an amazing post!!!
Carmen,
This is a great post! It is funny because I have been pondering/writing/praying about this same subject. A few weeks ago in my women's small group bible study, the question came up, "Does it matter? Does this life matter to my eternal? I mean, we are all going to Heaven, so what difference does it make how I live now?" Whew!
My ministry passion in Romans 12:1-2 and 1Peter....So, I have spent a lot of time giving these precious women the Word...God's perspective on WHY it is important how we live here and now. I will be emailing them this devotion!
Carmen, everytime I visit your blog, I am again encouraged! Your love and knowledge of the Word is inspirational! I am signing up to be emailed your posts because I don't "forget" about coming here. There are so many amazing women of the Word in this community and I enjoy learning from so many...but I "feel" such a connection to you, Sister!
Blessings, dear one, and THANKS!
Amen to that! I love your heart, thank you for sharing it so openly. Ann
Amen to that. I love your heart - thank you for sharing it with us. Ann
