Holy, you are holy...

How do you approach something that’s HOLY?  Just think about that for a minute.  Jot down your thoughts on approaching the Holy before reading any further, please. 

One of the most impactful ACTS I’ve ever had the privilege of taking part in, was at a women’s event.  We sang ‘Holy, you are holy’ to one another as we stood holding hands in a circle.  I can still feel what I felt as I remember what took place all those years back.  Looking into one another’s eyes declaring this Truth, understanding it more fully as we sang this over each other ushered us quickly into that holy of holies.  It was an act of intimacy that is rarely felt, rarely understood, rarely done.  We ARE HOLY.  Everyone in that circle needed the reminder.  Every spirit – every inner man – left that evening with a little more understanding of His mysterious, life-giving, sustaining graces.  

“The Kingdom of God is within you” declares Yeshua (Luke 17:21).

How do we handle HOLY things?  We approach them reverently, carefully, respectfully, with awe…

Why then do we not approach ONE ANOTHER in that same fashion.  We ARE HOLY.  We are the Mishkan indwelt by His Very Ruach.  Handle accordingly.  What would happen to our relationships if we handled ONE ANOTHER AS ‘HOLY UNTO THE LORD’ (Exodus 28:36)?  Wow.  HOW we handle the HOLY says a lot about our present spiritual condition, doesn’t it? 

This sod, this fellowship/intimacy/secret that the Anointing of the Ruach ALONE brings comes at a high cost.  This sod of the Ruach comes at my expense…your expense.  The Scriptures never tells us that ‘preparing the sanctuary’ is easy.  It comes as each one of us in our own way, is willing to be momentarily UNFAVORED by another – for their good - in order that they FIND/WALK IN TRUTH learning what it means to walk in the Spirit.  Are you okay with being UNFAVORED for a season in order that HIS Ruach guide another into Light/Life/Unity?  That’s the ‘secret’ alright.  Can you say ‘It’s more important to me that you LOVE TRUTH than like me.  I’m beyond okay with that’?

This is handling the Holy Things, Holy People respectfully.  Truth wrapped in Compassionate Love.  This is Preparing the Sanctuary (Exodus 25:8).  Have you granted The Ruach Elohim Chayim access into the holy of holies, that is, who you really are?  HE anticipates that access standing ready with a kind of overwhelming, loyal, compassionate, unbroken love your spirit requires and that will leave you astounded and new.   Yeshua’s chesed never leaves, never quits.
