The Way of Cain Bible Study

Ask any faithful church goer about ‘Sodom’ and they will likely relay to you the one horrid sin that led to the city’s demise.  They will probably see no correlation whatsoever between this ancient city and the state of today’s church...or themselves.  How does someone end up in a mess like that, anyhow?
Throughout this 4 week Bible study fellowship, we will explore the Father's Scripture-revealed Battle Plans to guard our very lives against walking the self-destructive Way of Cain.  And in its place, we will find the glorious freedom gained as we journey upward and onward along the Kingdom-productive Way of Christ!

Be ready, Ladies, for some fruitful discussion that will yield much-needed conformity to the Mashiach's (Messiah's) blessed image!  While this study might be the main dish, your thoughtful insights taken from your time at His feet will serve as the scrumptious sides!  And no meal is complete without those!  I am looking forward to dining with you at our Father's Table.

Thanks Girls, for your kindly & encouraging words! I'm very much excited about the Sisterhood...the fellowship of Mereas!...that will happen as we come together 'unpacking His Word' and share the insight He gives us with everyone else...

Shalom Aleichem!
"Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]--To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it)." ~ Ephesians 3:20-21 AMP

Carmen,

I'm excited about this study as well. It will be such a great complement to the study of Hebrews that I have done and am posting on my blog. Teach on dear one!!

I just found this today on my "Internet Cafe Devotion". Is is too late to do this? Do I need interaction with the others or can I do this by myself.

I'm looking forward to the next Bible Study. Hopefully, I'll catch it at the beginning and no the end!

Hi Carmen!

WOW!!! Well, just in case my comments did not post for the bible study, I hope they did, I'm sending them direct. Here they are:

Carmen,

Thank you for your gracious response and God bless you for this bible study. It always amazes me how the Lord works to instruct me and get me back in His presence. What a wonderful morning I had surrounded by bibles, meditating on His Word, and being reminded of my responsibilities. To some extent, I too was watching what is going on with banks, the stock market, and the election. Your bible study reminded me that none of that is any of my business. I, as a daughter of God, am responsible for the reading, studying, memorizing, and meditation of His Word. Too, my responsibility is to maintain my home in a manner that honors Him and allows me to be hospitable to those around me. Lastly, this convicted me of habitually running late and being unprepared. Talk about being arrested by the Word of God! He reminded me that He alone is working out earth's history according to His Sovereign will and my worrying about any facet of it is not His will for my life. Besides, women have enough to do. Why add more to my plate?

So, while I will keep an eye on the season that we live in, I am going to consciously avoid being burdened by its day to day concerns and news headlines.

Again, God bless you and keep you. I am going to direct more women here to share in this - they are as frazzled as I WAS! LOL

from Carmen:
thank you Luci! I'm so glad you're enjoying your time in God's Life-Giving WORD! It just goes to show you that no matter how much someone knows of God's WORD, it's not the passive knowing, but rather, always the 'active sowing' of It that brings JOY unspeakable.

May ADONAI richly bless your studies that HIS Word would DWELL in you richly...(Col. 3:16-17)

I have just downloaded this study, and have started it, by myself. Well, not totally by myself, as the Lord is with me!

I have felt very dry and barren, void of an overcoming spirit. I have worked my way through the first chapter and already I feel the stirrings of Life begin within me again. His Ruach HaKodesh breathing fresh life into me!

Thank you for your passion for Him and His Truth.

I love you, my sister in the Lord. I don't know you personally, but it is by the Ruach HaKodesh that I do know you...

But as for me, Heaven forbid that I should boast about anything except the execution-stake of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah! Through Him, as far as I am concerned, the world has been put to death on the stake; and through Him, as far as the world is concerned, I have been put to death on the stake.  For neither being circumcised nor being uncircumcised matters; what matters is being a NEW CREATION. And as many as order their lives by this rule, shalom upon them and mercy, and upon the Isra'el of God!
